Most of you know that i went to dental assistant school and graduated in march. Since then i had been searching for a job. I was getting so frustrated because i didnt realize how much competition there was for that job. People that were hiring would get over 50 applications the first day they advertise. Pretty much all dentists wanted dental assistants who had already worked and knew what they were doing for the most part. But anyway, i FINALLY got a job. Yay, relief!! I didn't go to school for nothing!!! haha. I just started this past monday and it is SUPER hard trying to learn every detail, but i love it. Everyone is super nice that works there, the dentist is awesome and a great teacher! So i have been way busy. Its from monday to thursday so not bad at all. My mom and sister have been watching ry on the days that jebb cant and i am so thankful i have them. I have to drive to lehi (from santaquin) so about 45 minutes. Sucks right now but be thankful for what you have right? In a month or so we will start thinking about finding a place closer to both our jobs and make it easier. So we plan on staying north for awhile longer now. Anyway just an update on whats been going on.

July 3rd we had a family reunion, the Evenson side (my moms) We went to Utah lake for the day and just hung out. It was too windy to do anything on the boat so we just talked, ate food and all got burnt. You really cant tell your getting burnt when its windy, its weird. It was still nice to finally get some sun and somewhat of a tan. Anyway it was still really fun, i loved getting to see everyone i don't get to see very often. Rylee was an angel, as always. Her and Paityn just crawled around and stole food from everyone's plate that they could find.

Brit, Jess, and I took the babies to the Lindon pool last week. We had never been and we very surprised how cool it was and for only 5 bucks! If you havent been i highly suggest you go. We spent most of our time in the lazy river. It was TRylees first time in a water park and she LOVED it! Brit bought lex a sno cone and while she sat on the ground eating it, paityn and rylee started helping themselves. It was so funny they were going crazy. Paityns face and hand were staind red.

Just some Milestones and fun facts about Rylee:

*Just recently from the past few days, she now pulls herself up on things like the couch and anything else she thinks she can use.

*She has been scoot-crawling for awhile now, its so funny but she gets around just as good as if she were crawling normal. We have seen her crawl normal a few times but not very often or for very long.

*She likes to follow people in other rooms, its so funny watching her do her scoot-crawl. Its so hard to explain, i wish i could put it in words.

*Also just recently these past few days she will now wave back to you if you wave to her.

*She knows what NO is... she will either make a game of it with you by taking turns shaking your head no at her or if you just say no no no... or she will do it when she doesnt want something like her diaper changed, getting dressed, or when she is done eating she will do it.

*She has said da da da da for a long time now BUT today she was crawling towards me and was actually saying mama mama. It melted my heart... i was so happy!

*Her favorite movie is Madagascar, i know what your thinking like how would we know that?? Because anytime we cant get her to go to sleep or calm down or anything, we put her in her bouncer in front of it and she immediatly stops. Most of the time she falls asleep to it but sometimes she will really sit there and watch it all the way through without a peep. I have to say its really nice haha

*Her most FAVORITE thing ever... MIRRORS. Instants smile and laugh when you put her in front of one. And she will continue to smile as long as she is in front of it.

*She loves watching and playing with her uncle Kolten who is 5. Kind of a silly kid we all know that, she will just watch him play forever. Only those that know kolten will really understand this hahah

*Almost everyday she wakes up like an hour earlier than jebb and I and she will just play in her crib for an hour or more just talking to herself and what not.

*She does have two bottom teeth but thats old news, she has had those for probably a good 3 months now, no others coming through yet.

* She LOVES her daddy, he can always calm her down when i lose my patience.

* At least a couple times a week she plays with her cousins Paityn and Lexey, its fun to watch them together. She gets beat up alot when they play because Lexey beats up on Paityn and Paityn beats up on rylee. haha they will soon learn and be best friends...

* Just like the no no no game she will play with you, only this time you squint your eyes and face at her and she will do it back.

* If she hears any kind of singing or music she will stop in her tracks and listen and try to find out where its coming from.

* And last but not least you all know about her head stand she does all day long. She gets on her hands her feet and puts her head inbetween her arms and looks around... funniest thing ever.

Well last night she was playing with it and we werent really paying much attention, then we look over and she is completely standing up only supporting herself with her hands on the container!! We found 5 baby raccoons in scott and jills backyard in lehi. They were so Cute! I cant say that i have ever seen baby racoons. After awhile they came out of the tree and we watched them play in the grass while we were all standing on the deck. It was pretty neat!!

Birthdays and Dog Food

Mine and Jebb's birthdays are pretty close, mine was april 28th and his may 7th i turned 21 FINALLY... and Jebb turned 27. My family and i always joke that if you can be married and even have a kid, then shouldnt you be able to gamble?? anyway not like we are big into that i just think it would be fun for just a weekend. We didnt do anything big for our birthdays just went out to tacanos for my bday and we did his a couple days early because he was suppose to work late on his but ended up not. SO we went to iggys on tuesday so he could watch the jazz game also. Last night on jebbs bday we just stayed home, everyone else was gone so it was actually kinda nice just us 3. We made his favorit meal bacon wrapped shrimp, Wings, and garlic potatoes. Took us all night cuz i kept messing EVERYTHING up. I dont know what was wrong with me, i CAN COOK! Those of you that know me you know i can.
Oh and i wanted to thank everyone for the awesome gifts i got!

Then i wanted to tell a funny story...
This morning i was going to bake some german pancakes... so i preheated the oven. A few minutes later i started to smell something REALLY weird and there was smoke coming from the oven. I opened it and saw this...

That would be dog food if you cant tell. Yeah i was like WHAT!? The most random thing ever...
I was like who would do something like this? I ask nick and kylie and they have no idea either, neither did jess. We were the only ones here. Sooooo how the dog food got in the oven we do not know. All we do know is that jess has a history of sleep walking and that could be the only explanation! So we point our fingers at her haha

It was fun to finally see someone else get married in the temple besides us, it was not so nerve racking if you know what i mean! Strawberry Hemangiomas

Im sure you have all noticed the red lump on rylees head. We always just figured it was a birth mark. She had her 2 month doctors visit today and i showed it to him. He told me it was a Strawberry Hemangiomas, which is basically a big red lumpy spot. haha thats how i would put it. So its good news that it is nothing to worry about....but.... he said it probably will continue to grow over the next 6 months to a year! I guess they can get pretty big, like im saying at big as a fist and like an inch or more tall!!! Soooo im glad its kind of more in her hairline but lets just hope it doesnt get that big!

New Pics and Update Finally!!

Havent updated for awhile! Its kinda hard when we dont have the internet. Anyway we have just been busy, jebb working, me and rylee just getting christmas shopping done! We are so excited for her first christmas, we did buy her presents! Not a whole lot just a bumbo and some little toys for her carseat. Jebb made fun of me because i wrapped her bumbo and put it under the tree, i guess we will have to unwrap it for her anyway haha. I think its still fun! Im sad that somehow last year i didnt get a picture of our first christmas tree being married so here is one of our second year and rylee's first! It looks pretty much the same just a different house so it works i guess.

Rylee is growing up SO fast. She is getting heavy and has been talking like crazy! Well more like gibberish, baby talk, whatever you want to call it. She laughs all the time and the best is when she has just fallen asleep, she will start laughing really hard! Its so funny to watch. Like really what do they dream about??? She will sit in her bouncer for hours just looking around and kick her feet, She LOVES tv! Jebb claims that she loves watching football haha but i think its just all the movement she likes. We are so glad she is such a good baby!

Went to our family Halloween party last night and finally got to see everyone! Just missing Debbie! Oh and Jebb of course, he is hunting in Colorado with his fam :( But i am glad he is having a blast.I didn't really dress Rylee up, just put a tutu on her cuz she looked so dang cute. I made her tutu i am pretty proud of myself. Im not usually very good at that stuff!

Dale Jr.'s Car!

Do you see it?? (Right in the middle) A few months ago Jebb entered to have his name printed on Dale Jr.'s fan car and he got it! Over 105,000 people entered and he actually got on it. Update!

Figured it was time to update, its so hard motivating myself to do it. We have been SO busy trying to adjust to everything. But luckily so far rylee has been a really really good baby. Jebb is such a good daddy and is so natural. He has so much patience which is really good because i tend to lose mine a lot easier than him. I love watching him with her.

I cant believe it has been only 3 weeks, it feels like so much longer. Also because rylee seems so advanced. Since day 1 she has been so aware, she just wants to look at everything and everyone. Whenever we hold her she lifts her head to look at things. She can roll on her side and has rolled off the couch already but luckily my mom caught her!

She had her 2 week doctors appt. and everything was great. Just a little cold in her eyes so we got some eye drops for that. She weighed 8.7 and was 20.5''. She was 8 and 18.5'' at birth.

Jebb had a deer tag so has been gone for a couple nights. He was having a hard time even finding one at all but finally got one his last day. It wasnt at big as he had hoped but i think its still awesome! We cooked up some steaks last night and they were really good!

34 Weeks Now...

Last update before we come home and you all get to finally see how huge i am in person! Cant wait to come home, i am soooo excited for my baby showers and to see everyone.

We bought the new Wii Sports Resort game, its pretty fun. And just as much fun to watch other people do it. You pretty much make a fool out of yourself haha... Jebb and carl are racing in canoes and you actually have to act like you are rowing. I was laughing pretty hard cuz they are really competitive.

32 Weeks ♥

♥ Just thought it was about time for an update! Haven't had much to talk about we have just been working our butts off. BUT, i am now 32 weeks Wahoo! Im so close to being done. We are getting super anxious. For those of you who don't know we decided to name her RYLEE MAY HEAPS! We are coming home the end of this month about the 29th-30th. Can not wait!

I finally found us an apartment in Provo, everyone kept telling me to just wait til we got back to get one. But it was stressing me out and all the students starting school take all the good ones. I'm excited i think its a pretty decent one. I had Brit and Mitch go check it out and make sure it was decent. I have some updated pics of me, don't laugh! Ha i feel dumb enough taking pics in the mirror like I'm in high school again. I know I'm huge! At least i feel like it.

I have to tell this funny story, at least i think it is. This is how Jebb reassures me... well tries to. The other night we were watching wacked out sports, if any of you have ever watched that you know that every episode they have clips of girls in bikinis with really nice bodies doing something crazy. And lately i just cant stand watching it cuz i feel like a whale! SOOO i change the channel when they come on haha, and jebb says to me "oh my gosh i have never seen a girl get so insecure from a TV show. And I'm like "Yeah well maybe if i didn't have a basketball for a stomach right now!" He says " Its NOT a basketball... its a watermelon" I'm like a watermelon is worse then a basketball, its huge and all lopsided. " Jebbs attempt to make me feel better is " Not a small watermelon"

Then last night he was making fun of me cuz i was struggling to get up the stairs like always, I'm like why don't you try carrying a watermelon under your shirt and see how you like it, jebbs response "Its not a watermelon, its a basketball" Hahaha so he cant make up his mind whether i resemble a watermelon or a basketball but either way I'M HUGE.

On Sunday we went to the Demolition derby at the fair. It was really fun! I had never been to one before. We did end up having to leave a little early cuz i was getting sick from sitting in the sun for 4 hours on wood bleachers but i think i did really well. It was SUPER loud, rylee was going crazy the entire time! haha

One of the kids got hurt pretty bad, so took them like 30 min to get him out.

Shedd Aquarium, Cubbs Game, Navy Pier!

Craig and Kerri came to visit us this weekend and we have done a ton of sight seeing and really fun things! I have soooo many pictures i had to make a collage and i had a hard time even choosing pics to put on those. But first we went to the Shedd Aquarium. Had tonz of fish,penguins,stuff like that. Took us about 4 hours to get through it! I was soooo tired!

Then that night at 7 we went to a Cubs vs Cardinals game. Cubs lost but it was a blast! I had no idea the whole crowd actually sings "take me out to the ball game" during 7th inning haha! That was my first Pro sporting event i have ever been too. I hope we go again before we leave!

Monday we walked along the Navy Pier, went on the Ferris Wheel and stuff. That was pretty cool too. It was gorgeous...

Had my ultrasound yesterday to just double check everything is good and all. The nurse asked if we wanted to know the sex, my mom and i were like oh well we already know so whatever... and as the nurse measured everything my mom and i kept saying he. At the end the nurse spoke up and was like well iv kept my mouth shut this whole time because i wanted to double check but this is for sure a she. My mouth dropped, i could not believe it. Everyone has been joking about this forever and it actually happened! Oh well... kind of a funny story to tell. I called jebb right away and he didnt believe me at first haha, think we were both just kind of in shock for the rest of the day. So we are back to square one with the naming. Anyway we are still super excited of course! I have some pics from the ultrasound but we didnt get any extremely fun shots, SHE wasnt very cooperative. Its SO weird to say SHE now!!

So i woke up in the middle of the night last night and my hand was throbbing so bad. Took me a second to realize that my hands and fingers had swollen so much that my rings were literally digging into my skin. It hurt sooo bad! i havent had any swelling before this besides in my feet. I guess i will make sure to take them off every night from now on!

Havent updated in awhile, we dont have much exciting news. Im 24 weeks now yay! I feel huge and starting to get really uncomfortable mostly up in my ribs. I feel like he is pushing on them constantly. This sunday jebb is going to nascar with the guys, i had the option to go but i didnt think i would have much fun driving 4 hours just to get there and sitting on bleachers all day and not knowing how hot it was going to be. Im already uncomfortable just sitting on the couch. But anyway im not too sad cuz im flying home on the 17th for fathers day, a doctors appt. to get my official ultrasound. And brit is going to have paityn on the 19th! Yay im sooooooo excited!

Yay iv made it halfway! So Heres just a lil update for you guys back in utah!! Im pretty sure we decided on the name Ashton. Thats what we have been calling him and it just fits i guess. This week i have been feeling him finally! And last night he was going crazy and jebb actually felt him for the first time, the look on his face was so cute haha the biggest grin! Im feeling fine besides huge and hungry all the time ha!

I felt really grose in these so i cropped my head off! Haha

Michigan Lake

Went down to Michigan Lake just killing some time... it was not what i was expecting. It was really cool. It looks like an ocean, there was really nice sand and docks and everything. We cant wait until it gets a lot warmer and spend some more time there. We were thinking about maybe going fishing or renting some jet skis!! Anyway i need to update more often but i havent had much to talk about besides vent about some things that are really getting on my nerves! I think i will anyway.. sorry

1. There are no lights in the living room or bedroom of our apartment! Yup! The ceiling is empty!! Dont ask why, i have no clue...

2. We have to pay to use the washer and dryer downstairs... $1.25 EACH

3. There are not any microwaves, i keep buying things at the store to just throw in the microwave and i pull it out and im like "crap"! The other day i tried cooking a hot pocket in the toaster. Yeah it doesnt work...

4. We cant get dish in our apartment. The apartment will not let us put a dish on the building and we cant get reception from the balcony. So its back the antenna and court shows all day.

5. Our apartments are animal approved so you better watch where your walking or you will step in dog poo! Its everywhere! And who ever lived in our apartment before us had a dog and its hair is all over the carpet.. so gross. And of course we dont have a vacuum.

7.KEYS! We have to unlock a door to get into our building with one key.. get our mail with another.. get into the gym/pool with another... pay for the laundry machines with another... and get into our actual apartment with another! And not to mention that the apx office is in another building that we go in and out of all day so we have to call someone to let us in.

8. Drivers are ridiculous here. They do not care about anyone but themselves. They like to make their own lanes and stop in the middle of the road for no reason. And the roads are terrible... just replaced our front tire on sunday from hitting a pot hole the night before. It split a huge hole in the tire!

9. Im growing out of all my clothes!! :'( I feel so huge and unattractive! It doesnt help that all i brought were summer clothes and it happens to be an average of 40 degrees since we have been here!

10. I havent felt the baby move yet. I get more and more anxious just waiting. Thinking that every little movement could have been it but who knows i have no idea what im looking for.

On Christmas Eve of 2008, a frozen ceiling sprinkler pipe burst inside the Chicago Illinois Temple, causing extensive water damage. An army of craftsmen from as far away as New Mexico replaced all of the carpet, replaced over 2,000 feet of wood trim, and replaced or reupholstered most of the furniture in just two months.

We finally got all our stuff out of our place thanks the EVERYONE that helped! Thanks so much! And also in the middle of all our craziness today we got our ultrasound! Yay! It was so awesome to see the baby, it makes it way more real. He was so cute all curled up and sucking his thumb. Dont ask what we are going to name him. We hvae no idea, we have a hard time finding ones we both like. But i guess we have all summer to decide! And most of you were wrong for the sex prediction! Although i was hoping for a girl im really excited its a boy! Jebb couldnt be happier, thats what he was hoping for all along!

Today is mine and jebbs 6 month anniversary! Yay! Crazy to think that in 6 months though we are going to have a baby!! I couldnt be more excited!! I kind of had a bad morning im guessing just a pregnant thing cuz i couldnt come up with one good reason i was in an angry and depressed mood. Jebb had to go to work so the only thing to cheer me up was shopping. So i did haha! Im at a hard stage though cuz i find the cutest things but then im like well am i even going to be able to wear this a month or two from now? Should i get a bigger size? uhggg... I can already tell this is going to be tough. :/

This morning i had my second doctors appointment. I made jebb go with me cuz i wanted him to hear the babies heartbeat for the first time with me. It was amazing... but for some reason i couldnt stop laughing and the nurse would lose the heartbeat everytime i laughed. So we didnt hear it for very long but it was a really cool experience. Jebb said that it sounded like a "boys heartbeat" haha he wants a boy so bad. And of course i want a girl more than anything but i guess we will have to wait and see who is right. We find out what we are having around the week before easter right before we leave for chicago. I will only be 16 weeks but mitch has a friend that will do it for free at 16 weeks. I cant wait.

So uh i really need to update but i have no idea what to talk about. Christmas was great... very different than what im use to but it was fun. We decided to have our christmas at home with just us two, then go see our family. We had to go visit my family and both sides of jebbs. A good 2 hours of driving all together!

3 Random Facts about Megan

1.)I am a very very very picky eater. Jebb gets so frustrated sometimes ha ha. Somedays i will love certain things and the next its the opposite. I have a hard time eating or even looking at anything that has come back up... no matter how long it has been :/ ewwww

2.) Not a day goes by that someone doesnt ask me if i am old enough to be working or if i should be in school. Probably one of the things that ticks me off the most. Just the other day a lady told me i looked like i was 12... TWELVE!? honestly people... I think they get thrown off by the ring, and they're like "wait a minute..?" so they have to make a comment or ask! And then i get the same answer EVERY time.. " oh you look so young! But you will love it when your older.. yada yada yada...

3.) I was sure i didnt want a baby til we were married for at least a year. But two weeks in... i kinda sorta changed my mind. haha its crazy i know.. now i just cant help myself whenever i see lil cute babies. And it doesnt help that britt, lauren AND ashley have the cutest babies EVER! Korbin, Lex and grady!!!!.....awwwwww

4.) No doubt jebb could probably name every player in the NBA... Enough said. He LOVES sports! We are always flipping back and forth to things i want to watch and his games haha...

5.) Jebb also love love loves hunting.... everyone who knows him already knows that. Its so funny watching him clean and mess with his guns... hes like in his own world. Our spare bedroom is pretty much all his.. we have his giant bear hanging on the wall and
he has two others that i forgot what they were haha. And then he has a desk where he cleans his guns and does reloading stuff. Hes getting me more into it... im going to take hunters safety, get a gun, and go hunting next summer hopefully. It will be fun!

6.) He will eat anything! but hes doesnt like sweets as much as i do...

The apartment search continues... This is the hardest decision i have ever had to make. I shouldnt have to make this decision on my own. Brittany and mitch help me a lot. They go with me to look at them but sometimes i just want someone to tell me what to do. I dont know what to do, what to look for, whats good, whats bad. Why cant god just point one out and say "thats the one megan, perfect." Jebb came to visit for the fourth of july weekend and we got engaged on the 3rd!Everyone wants to know so heres the story: We were at his house about to watch fools gold. I went upstairs and went to the bathroom and came out and he was standing in the living room. So i went over and gave him a hug and kiss and i said okay lets go downstairs and watch the movie but he just looked at me and kept kissing me. I tried to push him to make him go downstairs but he wouldnt budge. I was so confused. Then finally he took my hand and pulled me more in the living room and got down on his knee and pulled out the ring and asked me! Of course i said yes! It was nothing huge but thats how i wanted it. Cute and simple. We Spent the 4th of july boating, going to a parade, going to a rodeo, and of course watching fireworks all down in his small hometown gunnison and salina. Showing off my ring to all his family the whole time, It was so much fun. Im so proud of him! I love the ring he picked, it is georgeous. On sunday we had our engagement pictures taken by ali, that was a blast ha ha. The sad thing is that he left on the 7th and i wont see him again til 3 weeks before the wedding! CRAZY!! I hate it so much... but he keeps me goin everyday. Hes my only motivation. We will get through it though, so much wedding planning to do!

Its so amazing how you really dont realize what you have til its gone. And you actually appreciate what you have when you no longer have it at your fingertips whenever you want, like being able to see someone everyday. Its ok though, he is coming back soon. And i am going to see him on May 30th! So exciting! But i cant complain too much, for some reason it has made us closer. We have opened up to eachother more and i have never been happier!
